                Undergarments are just a funny thing, albeit a necessity. Underwear is the underlying structure of our clothing and some would call them the foundation of dressing.  Worn next to the skin and below our regular clothing, undergarments provide comfort, warmth, and protection to our outerwear.  Some undergarments are more practical than others, but still part of the overall dressing structure.

                Hanging out to dry, undergarments blowing in the wind seems almost as an invasion of privacy but a very practical and “green” way to dry washed linens.  On the other hand, some people are comfortable displaying bits and pieces of fabric from their underwear, almost as if they were teasing.  Underwear being practical and necessary, white undergarments are just about the most impractical thing in the world of underwear.  Solid white garments easily stain and their stark coloring can easily be seen through normal clothing leaving those exposed who prefer to keep their undergarment choices a secret.  This day and age, underwear comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors.  Many people have left the white stark underwear out of their shopping carts in exchange for bright flirty prints.  Whitey Tidies still exist in our world but have been mostly replaced with color.
