Bennett, John
Henry, and Charles Kingsley. The Water Babies,. London: French, 1950.
Print.
I was thinking about childhood and the books I use to read. Water babies was and is one of the
favorites. This book just has so many great lines that I used it for two prompts.
Granniss, Anna J.
Skipped Stitches: Verses. Keene, NH: Darling &, Book and Job
Printers, 1896. Print.
In my last prompt I used stitching and I happened to just acquire the book
“Skipped Stitches” over the winter break which consist of verses from songs and
poems.
Okakura, Kakuzō.
The Book of Tea. Rutland, VT: C.E. Tuttle, 1956. Print.
My first resource also made me think of these two sister musicians called
Coco Rosie, which I have been listening to a lot. They have this amazing sister
bond just based on their music, so I thought of my best friend/sister.
Phillips, Tom, W.
H. Mallock, and Tom Phillips. The Heart of a Humument. Stuttgart:
Edition Hansjörg Mayer, 1985. Print.
I think this book just summarized this who assignment for myself. It is a
rather tiny thing that I found on one of the bottom shelves of the library.
Quite the find if you ask me.
Torr, Diane, and
Stephen J. Bottoms. Sex, Drag, and Male Roles: Investigating Gender as
Performance. Ann Arbor: University of Michigan, 2010. Print.
This was my starting point in my book I have been really interested in the
idea of androgyny and sometime wonder what it is be like to be male, female, or
both.

All of these books have the most beautiful patterns and fabric textiles,
which come with a cd to transfer the patterns to your computer so you can use
them in digital form instead of just coping from the book. The best find during
my search in my opinion .
